So I guess I'm struggling more than I thought I would to return to drawing. I literally cannot draw in proportions. I'm going to have to teach myself from the beginning I guess.
I'm kinda sad..as I'm seeing artists who I used to know who've had the time and dedication and are now amazing, whereas I can barely pick my pencil up.
Oh well.

Unfortunately i'm struggling with my current laptop as its so horribly slow. I will try and update here at some point in the future, but it won't be as soon as I'd hoped.

It'll come back to you in time! It took me a few months after my 2-year dry spell to remember everything. What I did was start measuring in head lengths again for a while - it takes longer, but it helped me get a feel for proportions again. I also liked to ref poses from SenshiStock to get a feel for the flow of the human body again. You should see some of my sketchbooks from when I first started back - fortunately those didn't make it to my dA page XD
